Ikan Komu Asar

ikan  asar is a typical food of Ambon made from fresh fish. This food is made from tuna that is cooked by being stabbed with bamboo and smoked for about one hour. Besides tuna, fish asar made also of swordfish or tuna. Fish Komu very suitable asar eaten with rice and sambal colo-colo.

Ingredients:
1 fish Komo (ikan tongkol)
Several pieces of banana leaves


Spices:
3 tablespoons salt
3 chilies
3 shallots
1 tomato
1 orange juice


How to make:
Clean the fish and rub with salt.
Wrap the fish in banana leaves.
Grilled fish until cooked

Orange Sambal:
Sliced seasonings: chili, tomato and sliced red onions, season with lemon juice.

SAMBAL COLO-COLO


iNGREDIENTS
10 pieces of red pepper, sliced
6 spring onions, sliced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon melted butter or cooking oil
1 tbsp lemon

UTENSILS

How to Make a fish sauce colo-colo:
Mix all ingredients, stir until smooth.
Serve the sauce to accompany grilled fish, accompanied by a salad of raw vegetables, such as eggplant, beans and lettuce.

Ikan Kuah Pala Banda

Ikan Kuah Banda Pala is a unique culinary from the Banda Islands, Central Maluku district, Maluku Province.Ikan Kuah Pala Banda is one of the local culinary. This food is really famous in Maluku.The basic ingredients are made from fresh fish, usually using a snapper or grouper mixed with nutmeg as a marinade. It was quite unique that is a mixture of sour and spicy. Spicy generated not from spicy chili, but comes from the spicy pepper and other spices. Once tried, you will definitely be hooked. It is said that because it is very special, in the era of the former Dutch cuisine is served only on officials Netherlands.

RECIPE OF IKAN KUAH PALA BANDA

Ingredients:

½ Kg swordfish / tuna / mackerel, cleaned, cut into pieces
600 ml coconut milk from ½ coconuts
1 ½ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon of tamarind, dissolved in 50 ml of water, strain
The oil for frying

Ground Spices

6 red onions
5 cloves garlic
4 curly red chilies
3 cm turmeric
2 teaspoons coriander, toasted
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper grains
½ teaspoon flavoring

Seasoning Complement:

4 lime leaves
1 bay leaf
1 stalk lemongrass, white part and crushed
1 small bunch basil, leaves download
½ teaspoon sugar


How to make:
Marinate the fish fillets with salt and acid aqueous solution. Let stand 10 minutes, drain. Fish fry until cooked.
Stir-fry until fragrant spices, bay leaves, lime leaves, lemon grass and galangal. Add coconut milk and sugar, bring to a boil while stirring
Enter swordfish have been fried, reduce the heat. Bring to a boil again, remove from heat. Enter the basil leaves and stir well.



Gohu Ikan

All of you may know about sushi right ? Yep, sushi is one of traditional food of Japan that contains rice, fish, and seaweed. When we eat the sushi that means we're eating raw fish. Do you know that Indonesia also has ssome typical food made from raw fish meat ? It named Gohu ikan. This food is easy to made but it tastes so delicious. Gohu ikan made from raw tuna fish and cakalang fish. Tuna or Cakalng fish usually resemble dice cut, washed and then smeared with salt and lemon juice. After that, the basil leaves was mixed and the mixture was didiamkam for a few moments. While waiting for the seasoning to seep, you can prepare the chopped onion and chili fried in a little oil. After the aroma appears, then stir this oil can be sprayed directly into the fish batter that has been silenced for a moment, then Gohu fish are ready to be served.

Some of you may think that this food will smell fishy, but  even though that fish still raw but it doesn't smell fishy at all. The fishy scent will gone if you give it lemon and salt. You don't have to be worry to eat this raw fish, because actually this food has half-cooked. When you pour the oil into the fish it makes the fish half-cooked. Besides the price is affordable, this food also easy to cook and delicious.

Liang Beach

It located in Ambon. This beach also known as Hunimua Beach.The beach is not as crowded as Natsepa beach, but the beach is a great choice if you want to calm down and do not like crowds.
The beach is very beautiful with white sand gleaming in the sun. Shades on Liang Beach looks very exotic and be the characteristic of the beach itself.
There is nothing to worry about because sea water can be fairly quiet. The water is very clear, that you can see the beauty of the coral fragments despite a depth of two to three meters.

This beach has no facilities like many beaches in Bali. But when you're here you will not feel bored even though the playground is not provided. You can have fun by swimming, or playing in the sand and see the beautiful view.
Once satisfied playing the water, you can take shelter in a grove of trees. The beach is quite surrounded by trees so you do not have to worry about the heat and can relieve tired of sitting there. Or you can jump into the sea from the famous bridge Liang beach there.

ORA BEACH

ORA BEACH
This beach located in the northern part of Seram Island, Maluku. You can reach this beach by plane and it only takes several hour. if travelers want to visit Ora Beach then first they have to go to Ambon Pattimura Airport. From the airport travelers headed to the Port Tulehu using public transport. NATSEPA BEACH
If you are in Ambon, have you visited Natsepa beach. Natsepa beach located in the Suli village at Salahutu District of Central Maluku regency.This beach is  The beach is gently sloping, wide and very well known with fine white sand. With a sloping beach and white sand many people come here to relax, swim, snorkel, or rent a canoe to get around the beach.
On this beach also available some shelters that can be used by visitors, while relaxing they can see the sights of Baguala bay from the beach.

Fort Belgica
Fort Belgica is a 17th-century fort in Banda Neira, Banda Islands, Maluku, Indonesia. The fort acted as a fortification system to defend Banda Island, the only place in the world where nutmeg was produced. Fort Belgica, the fortress built by the Portuguese but later occupied by the Dutch in the 17th century. This fort has pentagon-shaped. In the Dutch colonial period, Fort Belgica switching function to monitor the traffic of merchant ships. From the top of the tower, tourists can enjoy a panoramic view of a portion of the Banda Islands, ranging from the blue waters of the Gulf of Banda, sunset, volcano towering peaks, until thick nutmeg trees on the island of Banda Besar.
